Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make a booking with you?

Please email us or call us. We’ll send you a booking form to complete and details of how to make the deposit. We require a 20% payment immediately to secure the booking and then 80% eight weeks prior to departure.

What time can I access my apartment or chalet?

Access to your apartment or chalet will be from 16.00. The reason for this is that we need enough time from when the previous guests check out to make the property clean, warm and welcoming for you!   Please do let our contacts in resort know when you are due to arrive in resort. Their contact details are in the guest information pack we email to you once you’ve paid the final payment for the accommodation.

What time do I need to depart my apartment or chalet?

We need you to be away by 10.00am on departure day. Our in-resort contacts will agree a time to check you out, return any damage deposits due and perform an accommodation inspection.

Where can I leave my luggage if I arrive in the resort earlier than 16.00 and want to go ski-ing or boarding?

You can leave your luggage at Stief’s Bar at the top of the resort along the Place de la Fare http://www.stiefs-steakhouse.com - this gives you the perfect excuse for a Belgian beer and one of Stief’s infamous burgers when you return to collect your luggage.

Who do I contact when I get to resort?

We use two different in-resort contacts to meet you and let you into your accommodation. Their contact details are in the guest information pack we email to you once you’ve paid the final payment for the accommodation. If you are in doubt, then drop us a line.

Does the apartment or chalet have wi-fi?

Most of our apartments and chalets do have wi-fi but not all so check the individual accommodation pages on this website and you’ll be able to find out. There are also a number of (ahem) temperamental free wi-fi hotspots around the resort: at the main ski station and at the top of the resort. Stief’s bar also offers free wi-fi for the price of a Belgian beer!

Can I book my ski hire through you?

Yep! We’ve negotiated a special discount just for our guests with the best ski shop in Vaujany. This means you get access to an extra 10% discount by booking with us. You’ll need to book in advance through the following website http://www.skiset.co.uk/partner/vaujanyapartments

Once in resort head to the Skiset shop at Place de la Fare and the ever helpful Ludo and Arianne will sort you out. Ludo will even come and collect your skis at the end of your holiday from your apartment/chalet.

Can I book my transfer from the airport through you?

Yes again! We’ve got a partnership with a local transfer company that run door to door transfers from Grenoble, Chambery, Lyon and Geneva Airport. Contact us and we’ll get you a quote.

Can I book my ski passes through you?

Ah…no, not ski passes unfortunately. However, its extremely easy to book them online and receive them in advance of your holiday. Just go to www.oz-vaujany.com and book online.

Which ski pass should I get?

If you are beginners, you might want to consider the smaller Oz-Vaujany pass. It’s a lot cheaper and still gives you access to a good amount of terrain, all accessible from Vaujany. If you are more experienced or adventurous then you’ll want the bigger Grand Domaine ski pass. Both passes give you free entry to the superb swimming pool in Vaujany.

Can I bring my pet?

I am afraid most of our properties do not allow pets but it is still worth asking, as sometimes we can make exceptions.

Does the accommodation have parking?

Most of them do…again check the individual property page on our website. If it doesn’t then don’t worry – there are two large, free, underground car parks in resort that you can use.

Where is the closest airport?

Grenoble is the closest airport. It is about 80 minutes transfer by car.

I’ve got a property in Vaujany and would like to advertise it on your website?

Let’s talk! Email us or give us a call.

What are your changeover days?

It depends on the property; it will normally be either Saturday or Sunday.
