Frequently Asked Questions
You can now book online with us. Once you have chosen your accommodation you can click to book whilst completing your details. We will then email you asking for a 20% deposit or the balance if it falls within eight weeks to departure. Once we have received payment we will confirm the booking and email you a receipt.
Access to your apartment or chalet will be from 16.00. The reason for this is that we need enough time from when the previous guests check out to make the property clean, warm and welcoming for you! Please do let our contacts in resort know when you are due to arrive in resort. Their contact details are in the guest information pack we email to you once you’ve paid the final payment for the accommodation.
We need you to be away by 10.00am on departure day. Our in-resort contacts will agree a time to check you out, return any damage deposits due and perform an accommodation inspection.
Historically you were able to leave your luggage at Stief’s Bar at the top of the resort along the Place de la Fare http://www.stiefs-steakhouse.com - this gave you the perfect excuse for a Belgian beer and one of Stief’s infamous burgers when you returned to collect your luggage. However now the bar has changed hands it is no longer possible.
We use two different in-resort contacts to meet you and let you into your accommodation. Their contact details are in the guest information pack we email to you once you’ve paid the final payment for the accommodation. If you are in doubt, then drop us a line.
Yes all our apartments and chalets have free wifi.
Yep! We’ve negotiated a special discount just for our guests with the best ski shop in Vaujany. This means you get access to an extra 10% discount by booking with us. You’ll need to book in advance through the following website https://www.vaujanyskicompany.com/useful-info/equipment-rental/
Once in resort head to the Skiset shop at Place de la Fare and the ever helpful Ludo and Arianne will sort you out. Ludo will even come and collect your skis at the end of your holiday from your apartment/chalet.

Not through us but you can order your lift pass in advance and receive it in the post from the following site:
www.oz-vaujany.com
Please note the website should be updated mid-november 2023
Also Note: historically if you buy a 6 day full area ski pass then you also gain one free visit to the Vaujany swimming pool and leisure centre. hopefully this will remain the same for the new website.
We recommend booking passes online in advance - Passes will be posted to you or if you have a pass from last year you can re-use it or you can collect them from the ski station in Vaujany.
If you are beginners, you might want to consider the smaller Oz-Vaujany pass. It’s a lot cheaper and still gives you access to a good amount of terrain, all accessible from Vaujany. If you are more experienced or adventurous then you’ll want the bigger Grand Domaine ski pass. Both passes give you free entry to the superb swimming pool in Vaujany.
I am afraid our properties do not allow pets but it is still worth asking, as sometimes we can make exceptions especially in the Summer months.
Most of them do…again check the individual property page on our website. If it doesn’t then don’t worry – there are two large, free, underground car parks in resort that you can use.
Grenoble is the closest airport. It is about 80 minutes transfer by car. Geneva aiport whilst further away may give you more flexiblity on flight dates and times.
Let’s talk! Email us or give us a call.
It depends on the property; it will normally be either Saturday or Sunday in the winter season. Usually some flexibilty over the festive season. Very flexible in the Summer months.
